There has been some significant work within the scientific community regarding the research of various blood proteins that have been suggested to promote cancer growth and a group of researchers at a medical school in Canada have said that they may have been able to figure out which type of mechanism within the blood actually facilitates the metastasis of tumor growth. And this has led researchers to believe that they could block that growth due to advanced knowledge of this particular mechanism.
The team utilized a variety of highly complex and traditional lab equipment including everything from advanced microscopes to a lab drying oven to classic burners and test tubes in order track down this very interesting macrophage which is a type of blood cell that has been seen to impact various tumors because the protein travels into the tumor and helps to aid cancer growth. The scientists in charge of the research have said that this important macrophage is ultimately what will kill the patient.
It is the theory by the scientists that if the tumor growth can be stopped it would be through the manipulation of the macrophage which could be slowed or even stopped in its tracks from impacting healthy cells and tissues before it could combine with tumors and growths at the molecular level. The intelligence of the macrophage is such that it can actually further the growth of the tumor by breaking apart the tissues at the molecular level and enhance the activity within the tumor to stimulate that growth.
